Skip my usual Sunday regrime & slept a little longer.
Weekend never fails to pass quickly,
whereas weekday always passes at a snail's pace.
Cant figure out why.

Before long everyone will bid goodbye to year 2010
& started to list down a list of new year resolutions hibitually.
Resolutions that are often left unfulfilled over the past year,
resolutions that likely to become a "permanent" resident on the list as years go by.
Looking back at my 2010,
greatest acheivement nevertheless is a change in working environment.
Stepped into the open arms of a fun-loving family with lots of outside work activities awaiting.
Even though stress level is still making its way upwards at work,
i'm always able to find enjoyment within.
Hmmm....
Shouldn't I do the usual new year must-do activity,
Year 2011 resolution?!
this time round I shall keep it private till the day I strike it off my list of resolutions.

Spent a blissful saturday noon catching up with wy, whom we haven't meet up for quite some time.
Endless gossiping & whining while scrolling down streets of town.
Impromptu decision of entering into a medicure parlour to get our bare nails colored.
There goes my first time, getting others to service my nails.
It's a chagrin!
Service rendered wasn't up to mark.
Nails color starts to peel off after 10mins.
So annoying.
Maybe you may wondering what's this "excellent" shop is.
All i can reveal is that it's located at Far East Plaza L5, one of the parlour which offer nails to be done @ $8.90.
Since unable to endure such ugly nails, headed for 2nd round of medicure.
Finally received a service that was satisfying.
Greatest of all is that it ONLY cost 5 bucks, ladies!
Cheap & Good.
Fyi, this parlour is also located at Far East Plaza L5 with the following shop name:
CxxDxRxLLA.
Highly recommended.

Has been pondering and wandering...

Why some souls could actually earn big bucks at a tender age?

Came to think about my current progression,

earning billions or even millions seemed so far-fetched and mission impossible.

Must motivate myself and hopefully someday impossibilities could turn into a reality,
who knows?

not the monetary constrains but committment issue.

Wondering how I will be able to endure through the remaining months of the year,

struck in spore.

Most prob u may concluded aft reading the above that I am a extreme spender,

who feels that gng for getaway is a MUST thing

where I hv no where to spend my bucks.

Heck care of what others think.

All I truely know are that only through overseas getaway,

I could fully relax with pleasure,

away from the hustle and bustle of city life here,

escape from the routine of heading for work,

battle thorugh the hours and when the clock ticks at 6,

dashes straight for the exit.

Really need to temporary clear off the wants for a holiday .....

Can anyone made a guess what's drinks are that??

It's Mango Tango & Aloe Vera!!

Mango Tango = Preserved mango w green coloring + sugar water.

Aloe Vera = Limes (plenty) + water + few cubes of Aloe Vera.

It's the worst drinks I ever encountered esp the Mango Tango.

Oh mann, didn't even knows that preserved mango can be served as beverage!

In conclusions, don't ever even bothering visiting.

Life is full of choices.

W/o fail one r required to make choices at least once daily.

Some choices r made purely on instinct,

while some r made after serious consideration - wieghing the pros & cons.

Always outcome of the decision is unpredictable,

till one went full force towards it.

Distaste such unease feeling that tags along with it.

Since decision made has been finalized,

I shall wait patiently for the outcome.

Barracks @ Dempesy Hill

Recommended by gfs to try out this real cool dining area.

It's consider inaccessible for those w/o cars.

Thus, we flag for a cab fr ION to this 'remote' place.

It's a region cluttered w diff kind of dining choice - a old school, laid-back style.

Unable to locate e Barracks, engaged a waiter for help.

All thanks to him that we entered into a totally incorrect place.

Table was set up for us w/o even knowing that we invaded e wrong premises.

"E-m-b-a-r-r-a-s-s-e-d!"

Anyway, we still end up managed to set our butt in the right place.

Food was superb!

However, word of caution: it's not cheap but definitely affordable when taken into account e ambience & the ingredients used.

Food ordered:

1)Skinny pizza - the crust is extremely thin & crispy like chips

2)1 metre long sausage - mild spicy

3)Pumpkin w crushed macadamia nuts salad - healthy & tasteful

4)Truffle mushroom ice-cream - combination of mushroom + oyster + cream, fascinating & indescribable taste.

Such feeling is so displeasing.

Totally keel over these days.

Knackered, gruelling and wabbit.

Reminiscing on the old school days,

can't help but start thinking of the goodness of being a student.

Having the luxuries of skipping school as and when wished.

Beginning to saddle with more jobs.

Each and everyday never failed to try coping with tolls and shaves.

Have been grappling with my problem lately.

Problem that plaques me for quite some time.

All I can voice out is that....

Uncertain how long I am able to hang in there.

Wishing for a long break which I could escape to wonderland,

Work throughout the entire wk last wk.

Was a 7 days wk for me.

Burnt e entire wkend helping out at a Spring Conference.
It's a nice experience even though was quite draining physically.

Get to interact w ppl from all over the globe.

Most attractive thing abt it r...

1) the pay was appealling,

2) the working venue was @ a hotel - Riverview Hotel,

3) get to lunch at their buffet cafe

4) also entitled a fair share of their in house pastries for tea break.

(1st time ever tt i get to feed my stomach every minute)

Thus, no matter how tiring it can be,
there's simply no reason I shd reject unless I m INSANE!

Had a retail therapy session with my shopaholic girlfriends,

hoping to pamper myself abit after receiving salary few days ago.

gosh it really can keep me high for at least couples of days before the "highness" drifts away.

Gotten 1/2 day off today.

Head to Suntec 4 the bodyshop warehouse sale...

Gosh, the crowd was maddness.

Copious souls were alr there queuing up to pay, pushing & grabbing stuffs as if all things are FOC.

Sometimes I jus cant keep wandering since the economic is so bad,

ppl complaining abt scarcity of fund,

how come they are still incorrigible spendthrift - spend9 like nobody business?!

To correct myself (cos i do also gotten a few stuffs cos it's truly a good steal), I'm referring to those who bought boxes of e products & numerous bags of products that are filled to the brim.

However, didnt grab unnecessary stuffs to add dollars to my bill.

Butt Hurts...
Slipped and fell off a flight of stairs, landing on my butt.

Gosh!

Bruises formed as a result.

Sitting properly is almost out of question.

Got to be real cautious when sitting, making sure e patches of bruises were not being sat on.

Always wanted to cut bangs thus went fulfil my desire few wks ago.

Regretted it as my cousins commented that it was pretty weird.

2 "Memorable" encounter on my trip home jus now...

1St @ the bus-stop.

Was waiting for bus & sudden a blind man approached me for help.

Of course I'm more than willing to lend a helping hand.

BUT you know what,

he's was rather rude when he approached me.

Didnt even bother to say the golden word 'excuse me'.

He's tone of voice is pretty harsh & demanding as if I owed him a favor.

He told me that he's waiting for bus 106,

so I told him that I ll look out for him & inform him when it arrives.

Den u know what....

He started askin me what's the bus no. for the previous 3 buses that passed by.

How m I suppsoe to rem when those buses arent e ones I m waiting for.

Even though, I told him that I m sure neither are 106.

He kept probing.

Kept asking what's the previous 3 buses no.

(What the heck!)

Maybe I m sounding mean but he's bein too demandin n unreasonable.

Besides, when he's asking a favor from me,

he jus started off saying WHAT No. ?, WHAT is shown on the hp screen?, READ for me.. blah blah...

(tone of voice : demanding & loud)

He even asked me read out the title of the songs in his hp music folder.

Some of them were in han yu pin yin which I confessed tt Im hving trouble reading.

Argh....

He shd try to be more polite when seeking for help.

2nd on the bus.

Planted myself nxt to a old uncle.

Throughout the whole journey,

he kept peeping & staring @ me.

Even if I do turn an stare @ him.

Such a dirty old man!

Worst still,

he even wanted to peep @ my messages while I was texting my fren whining abt him.

Recently watched an emotive korean drama

'Tree Of Heaven'.

The story revolves ard the love that blossom eventually, which is 'forbidden' due to their sister-brother relationship.
Feeling guilty abt having such feeling towards her brother, Hana chooses to leaves for Tokyo w Senior Ryu whom likes her too.
Upon knowing,
Hana's brother (Yunsuh) was heartbroken and decided to leave too.
Two years passed and both of them (Hana & Yunsuh) lost contract of each other totally.
Even so,
Hana still sincerely believed that she ll definitely meet her brother once again.
True enough, they met.
However things changes over e 2 yrs...
Her brother no longer could confess his love for Hana,
to e extreme tt he was trying hard to estrange his relationship w Hana.
Even so,
he still secretly protect her from behind as he vowed to Hana tt he ll protect her....forever.
Its so TOUCHING.
I shed litres of tears while watching.
Its highly recommended for those who is feelin low n need an excuse to 'release' their long held tears.
Its really worth watching & trust me...
it ll touch yr heart.

Dine @ Triple 3 buffet restaurant @ Meritus Mandarin Singapore for lunch yest.

It's an international buffet consisting of jap, western & local cuisine.

But the weightage of western cuisine was higher.

Food was pretty good esp their dessert.

Highly recommend those chocolate lover cos ample chocolates available.

As for the cons:

1) Services were bad & surly.

2) Limited drinks - tea , coffee & ice-water ONLY!

3) Ambience wise - condition of e furnitures are questionable.

( Chair's cushion was strained w who knows wad..)

Can give it a try if there's extra cash to spare as it's not cheap.

Pricing are....

Lunch 12:00pm - 2:30pm

$45.00++ (adult)

Dinner 6:30pm - 10:00pm

Experienced a activities filled wkend.

Went East Coast for picinc & cycling on Sat.

Cant recall when's my last visit.

Suffer terrible muscle ache albeit cyclin for short duration.

Probable reason: Lack of exercise ever since entry to uni.

Planted myself by the seaside,

watching youngster sailed.

Soaked myself under the sorching sunlight, enjoyin the sea breeze.

Heart such life.

Made a journey to Johor on Sun for shoppin spree.

Hit the new shopping mall - Jusco.

The mall was gargantuan, resembling spore Vivo city.

Dined in at Pizza Hut for lunch.

Their set meals were economical.

Cost only ard 4 sing bucks per head.

After which, we dashed for the arcade for some gamin.

50 cents per game only! Cheap isnt it?!

Thereafter, headed for the supermarket for grocery & spent a lump sum there.

Ohya, did check out their kbox.

11++ rm for lunch package which include a western meal.

Truely worth giving it a try.

Had a deal w my cousin tt we shd sing our heart out on our nxt visit.

Watched a couple of horror movies lately.
Oh my..cant even rem when I last get to watch a real scary horror movie.
As for me, personally prefer thai horror to any other as their plot and effects r more realistic.

Twenty years ago an inexplicable mass suicide occurred in the millionaire Yang household where the entire clan were hanged at the exact same hour, place, and height.
Only one member survived.
The tragedy is closely linked to the family's "child ghost" wordshippin practice.
Degree of horror is not up to my expectation yet.
However, on e whole not bad.
Considered gd when takin into account that it's a taiwan horror movie.

Nang Nak....
Thai Legendery true story of Nak, a very beloved wife who is very loyal to her husband.
Death Never Do them Part...
Nak, the wife continue to stay by her husband side even aft she died in labour.
Her husband was unawared tt his beloved wife is no longer human
and was furious when his close friend confronted him that he's living w a ghost.
People in e village die mysteriously if they were to 'interrupt' their living.
Finally, the day that the truth would revel itself has come.
Find the storyline rather plain.
Practically, none of the scene in e movie horrified me.

Por woke up in a hospital after being beaten up and discovered that a female spirit kept haunting her.
She was so freak out initially but as time goes by she believed that e spirit haunted her 4 purpose, that is ....
she sincerely needs Por helps to find her stolen foetus back...
There's a 'unexpected' twist in the story.

Above pic is taken at the busiest shopping district " Shinsaibashi ".
The shops here are sort of similar to that of our bugis street, just that e shops here were millions x more..
Didnt manage to finish shoppin cos need 2 compromise our time for lunch.

(shall visit there again nxt time!)
Intend to hv a sushi buffet but the shop wasnt ready for operation.
Therefore we look for alternatives n hv this instead..

Cost 880 yen a set..(quite ex but filling)
Consist of 2 beef patty n veggie w tomato sauce.
Taste gd!

It's also a beef patty... (maybe beef r japanese fav meat)

When japan for holi last wk and was back on sun morning.

Currently missing the cold weather, food, shopping mall and e ppl there.

Simply love japan to the bits mann!

Finally managed to come in contact w snow!

Even had our little snowballs war there albeit e extreme cold weather tt really made us trembled.

Had a glimpse of Sakura blossoming by e streets.

It's SOoo beautiful.

Made a trip to 2 well-known theme parks....

Disneyland & Universal studios.

Quene there was considered record breakin for us cos we were stuck there for almost 3hrs b4 getting a ride!

First time ever in my life did I experience a 2hr back to back quiz.

It's awfully taxing physically and mentally.

Totally drained out aft that....

Entire wk was considered hectic as all my days were packed w "urgentlty needed to be done" stuff, thus only able to squeezed out 2 days to study for 2 tests.

Furthermore, this 2 modules are modules tt r not my cup of tea.

Anyway, finally get it over n done with!

Term break is approaching soon, in days time.

Doubt I can get a good replenishment fr it.

Fyp reports shall keep me occupied n so is blah blah blah stuff....

Had my injection done at KK Hospital on christmas eve.

Gosh, it was so painful!

Poor me, my injected area swell up.

Hurt to the brim when touch.

That's the side effect I got.

After that,head for fish & co at wheelock.

Their service was horrible.

They screwed up our orders & when it's time for bill, we waited for 5 min n the bill is still not yet to be seen.

I think it's time they do sth abt it.

When luncheon @ pizzeria w my parents.

Upon footin the bills, we inform e cashier that me & my bro r students,

thereby showin her our passes.

Unexpectedly she questioned us,

"only 2 students?"

fixing her eyes @ my mum while asking.

My mum reassured her w a firm yes.

Oh...! e cashier blurted out,

saying tt she thought my mum is a student too.

HuHhh...!

Went to Kok Fah technology farm (a veggie farm), bollywood veggies (co-founder Ivy Singh Lim) and the jurong frog farm yest. Get to scroll down their farm, witness the growth of many vegetables & fruits tt we consumed daily. "Wow, e tree of tis fruit actually looks like this?" was the sentence I kept repeating thr'out the entire trip. I'm indeed a mountian tortoise! Some personal comment I wished to make on regards to the bollywood veggies.... Dont really get to view much veggies or fruits there. Bananas r e only fruit that were being grew in abundance. Besides, the farm is so unorganized. Plants of the same kind can be found all over the place....However, there is still lots of visitors. I guess most of them were there jus for e 'organic' food they served. Didnt get to taste them as the pricing weren't wallet-friendly enuff. =P Furthermore, we conducted some illegal plucking session. Stopped by the roadside whenever we came across trees bearing edible fruits and get our hands busy, pluckin those rippen ones using a stick w hook tt was pre-preapared. =)

f!nally done w all mY quizzes. *wOots* However feeling so demoralized aft yest CA cos the lecturer for hasn't been 'kind' enough. High probability of recceiving his mail as he promises tt he ll send mail to those who flunk it. Totally screwed up the entire paper. It's either I'm dumb or insufficient preparation being done. Cant help it if it's latter since I had 3 quizzes in a row. =( Now I'm feelin so drained out. Shall treat myself by doing nothing for the coming days b4 mugging for the nxt big thing.....

Went dining @ pasta de waraku - a jap casual pasta & cafe restuarant, w frens to celebrate the end of the last CA... took their scallop macaroni. If you are a creamy & cheesy person, you ll definitely heart tt jus like i did.....=)
Witness an accident.... a little boy's crocs got stuck at the side of e elevator...Luckily his mum was jus right behind him, managed to pull him away in time if not he might be the nxt the little girl whom lose her little toe......Pity tt little boy. Just watched "The Detective" movie, which it’s something of a horror-thriller-suspense-mystery...

Sorry to say tt I dont really like it.. find the plot quite humdrum tt I almost doze off midway through the show. Personally felt tt e movie would be more attention catching if the storyline will to progress in a faster pace...=) Furthermore, I'm unable to quote any horror-thriller scene in the movie... Most of the time, it's the sound effects that bulid up the horror-thriller atmosphere within the audience.....

Plenty of my brain cells died lately cos hv been cracking my head for my soon to due packaging assignment. finally get to start typing a little - hopefully it's a gd start. *fingers crossed* Our brain cells ll only die out n not get "replenish" rite? No wonder I feel that I'm getting dumber as days pass by.....

DaYs ago, one of e unit in my floor got robbed by a chinese male. e policemen have yet to catch the culprit. Sincerely hope tt they ll get hold of the culprit SOON so tt I can move ard my neighbourhood at ease. Furthermore, heard from one of the aunties tt months ago, a CHIJ gal almost got attack by an indian national. She entered the lift at our block and when the lift's door was abt to shut, tis indian guy popped out fr nowhere dashed toward e lift... wanting to enter. Upon seeing tis, tis gal immediately presses the closing door buttom but he managed to stuff one of his hand between the closing lift door, grabbing hold of her. Lucky her, aft some struggling she managed to break free fr his grip if not the consequences ll be horrendous. Gosh, cant believe i'm actually living in an area so prone to crime! =( It really gives me creeps whenever I find myself waiting for e lift alone....

Had been drinking avocado+mango juice from Canteen A. Sort of addicted to it. Love the fusion taste of these 2 fruits. Moreover, heard tt these 2 fruits r gd for skin! As for food wise, I'm sorry to say tt I'm so sick of can A food tt I m currently lookin for alternative eating spot. Went to Hall 2 during one of my lunch break n tried the fried fish bee hoon. By right milk shd be added to the soup, but my fried fish bee hoon soup didnt hv any milk being added. So disappointing since I luv the usual milky taste of it. Overall, dont really like tis. However if yr luv to eat bean sprouts den tis dish shd be fine w u cos the vendor was quite generous w her bean sprouts........

wEnt IMM w my fren aft one of my core module - Engineers & Society, to kill time since there ll be 4 hrs break in between my lectures. We treated ourselves to a sumptuous lunch - Ajisen. Order their weekdays lunch set meal which comprises of a ramen of yr choice, a cup of green tea and a side dish for another 90 cents. Chosen black pepper beef ramen. It's was scrumptious. The beef was so tender & the flavoring on it taste so right. Besides, we did also order the macha sundae armitsu. Needless to say, this cup of sundae seemed to be the best ice-cream I hv eaten so far. *yUm yUm* Feel so contented aft the meal. ll definitely revisit e restaurant again in future. =P With our full stomach, we went loitering ard the mall before heading back sch for lesson.

tAlking abt Engineers & Society core, I was kind of stupefy aft browsing thr it's content. We will be studying spore history & our society. 3 written assignments were also bein assigned to us which means tt I will hv to do some writing up. Oooo....meet up w liling & Julia (one of the staff from my IA company) yest evening to dine at paragon's Din Tai Fung. It's a treat from Julia. We order nearly a table fully of dishes which ending up having to "settle" these dishes through games - e one who lose will hv to finish up one of the remaining dishes.... gee. Among all the dishes, I luv their dumplings most. YummY!! Oh, did yr eat yr dumpling w vinegar & ginger? Cos I managed to finish 3 plates of gingers...haha. Den my fren liling was amazed tt someone actually luv vinegar & ginger too such a shocking extent. =P ... Managed to take a glance @ the bill, all e food total up to 80 plus bucks (quite ex). *So generous of her!* Aft meal, we took some shots outside the restaurant n liling too share w us her trip 2 korea. Oh, she did bought back some prezzies for us. Gotten a lovley mickey mouse notebk & some local sweets...*tks liling!* =)

Headed down to raffles place River Island n found tt it's having sale. *I'm so into this brand recently.=)* Managed to grab sth..hee. Oh, I visited a newly open store @ taka...it's called TED Baker; a london brand. The clothes there cost a bomb mann! The cheapest piece u can find also cost 65 bucks. *that's insane!* It's their store's deco that grab my attention. Their strawberry cake deco looks so real tt tempt me to take a bite! (^_*).... "Annoyance " is the only word that can describe my current mood. Super pissed off with a chinese national lady from my school's polymer lab! The story goes like tis...........

I give the lab a buzz yest hoping to settle my equipment training booking matters through phone telling her that it will be inconvenient for me to travel all e way down to e lab. Upon hearing this, she replied that in such case I could drop them a mail. I asked for the email add. She hesitated for seconds before giving it to me. By then, I sort of sense that she's a bit reluctance. Ok, den I happily went off to send them a mail. Then u know wat... when I checked my mail today, I found out that e mail was undelivered due to invalid email add. Wat the heck?! She gave me an non-existing email add!! She's so damn #@%#$. It's not that I wan to carp abt such trivial matter but she's really so evil.. =( End up making a trip down to the lab personally. *Gosh* (cant stand most of e females from china!)

Then, I had a unpleasant journey home from school just now too. (adding on to my annoyance..) The guy sitting nxt to me has a weird odour which is unbearable. Really make me wanna puke. Gosh...I want to head korea for holiday now after hearing from my fren what those cheap buys she had gotten. U know wat...the products from Skin food, the face shop n missha are selling @ a extremely low price mann! Taking the nail polishes from face shop for instance, it only cost 1000 won flat - aft conversion it's cost only 1.67 bucks n it's calling for 2.90 bucks @ the store here!! 0_o.. Wow, if I were to go there, I will definitely shop till I drop - making sure that I get every colors of nail polish available on the shelf. ~wahaha~ =P Besides, the skin food's sheet masks are selling at half of the prices seen here!

Oh, one cons of shoppin @ korea (mentioned by my fren) is that it's a strictly an anti-plastic bags zone - which means u will hv to buying along yr own carrier while shoppin. =( So peeps, if yr happen to shop there, pls be prepared...hee.

W0oooo...when all the way to marine parade hawker centre for lunchie yesterday. Ate some dim sum accompanied w my favourite dish - the fried oyster! It's been a year since I last ate one. The dim sums were awesome and the pricing wise was reasonable as a result there's always a quene forming in front of the stall... Cant remember the exact name of the dim sums I order but knew that there were crispy shrimp roll, fried tofou w filling within it, char siew pau & etc... =) Even though the hawker was irritably HOT, the food there were simply delicious - 2 thumbs up!

Mentioned in my previous entry that I eyed on 3 tops online, recently hv the sudden urge to get one of them - the black polo tee. It costs only 14.5 bucks. That's cheap cheap hooray! Additional handling n shipping fees will b added in, which will amount to 19.5 bucks. But it's still a gd steal mann... Dont think can get such a tee for that price. However, I hv second thoughts on whether to purchase it as I wont be able judge for the pic of the tee whether it suits me. Haiz.... still thinkin. Hopefully can make up my mind soon... =P

Arrrrrrrr! Registered for my modules jus now. It's driving me NUts! Upon first trial, I can only managed to register for ONE core as most of the modules were only left w ard 5-10 vacancies when we were trying to register n there are actually few hundreds souls fighting for them!! Gosh, the STARS system simple sucks to the core mann......!!! However, after a few tries, I managed to get 3 of the remaining 4 subj leaving only the microE module.... Keep trying w a "never say die" attitude finally paid off. Gotten it at ard 420pm which is near to the end of the "first" phase of registration. PheW.......registration matters settled! HoorAy. ~Wahaha~

Attend my little cousin's first bdae party. Did nothing much @ the party. Most of the time are spent munching... Gee* Most prob gained a kilo or two. While waiting for the cake cutting session to arrive, we went for a drive in one of my cousin's car. The car was MagnificaNt... It's a NISSAN Presage with a in-built Smart Screen Navigation system - an LCD screen which integrates an in-car touch-screen GPS Navigation System (with full navigation capability in co-ordination with both on-screen and voice guidance) and a reverse camera to display image of vehicle rear for safer reverse parking. Wow..super high tech!!! With such system, it can guide one to his/her destination easily without fearing of getting lost on their way to unfamiliar places. Isnt that gd?!
